Case Study: Solar Project Advisory

EOS Ventures is a Massachusetts based solar and wind development company that was responsible for the development and construction of the first wind turbine on a ski resort, namely Jiminy Peak in Lanesboro, MA. With this experience, EOS, in 2006, went forth to develop its own portfolio of wind and solar projects in the Northeast U.S.

NorthWinds was engaged to assist the company in securing the overall project funding for each project or the sale of the pre-construction project to a larger developer/owner.

While providing financial modeling, and structuring expertise on a multitude of projects throughout New England and New Jersey, NorthWinds was able to assist in securing a sale of the company’s 2.2 MW solar project located in Pownal, VT as well as assisting in securing funding for the company’s 229 KW Wardlaw project located in New Jersey.

NorthWinds continues work closely with EOS as it develops and expands its overall Northeast strategy in both the wind and solar sectors as well as the small scale, inside-the-fence cogen strategy.
