Prior to joining NorthWinds Advisors and its predecessor company, Gemini Securities Group, Mr. Greenberg was Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales (specializing in law firms and accounting firms) for two boutique investment firms. These firms specialized in tax advantaged investments and hedging strategies including the monetization of low cost basis stock. While at these firms Mr. Greenberg was involved in the development and execution of over $4 billion in US Treasury transactions. Mr. Greenberg also developed new tax arbitrage strategies for the firms.

From 1986 to 1991 Mr. Greenberg was Chief Financial Officer of Richardson & Assoc., a privately owned investment and merchant banking operation, in which Mr. Greenberg was responsible for a $2 billion leasing portfolio, leveraged buyouts, private placements and real estate transactions.
Mr. Greenberg received a B.S. degree in accounting from City University of New York-Baruch College. Mr. Greenberg became a certified public accountant in 1982.
